As some of you may know, Mike Pedersen of Kelowna’s Music City Studio has started something worth getting extremely excited about: The Music City Podcast. The first episode was released on June 13th, 2012 and if you haven’t listened to the weekly podcast yet, you can do so here: Music City Podcast.

The setup that makes the music news magic happen
Mike is painfully aware; as many of us are that there is an absolute abundance of underexposed musical talent across not only the Okanagan, but also Canada. That’s why he launched The Music City Podcast. The podcast focuses on less well-known Canadian artists who deserve to be highlighted and interesting music related news stories. The podcast is released every Wednesday. Dan Oig is the host of the podcast, and as you may or may not be aware, I also host a weekly segment that focuses on an emerging Canadian artist or band. The podcast is available on iTunes and Welcome to Kelowna.com.
