Know Kelowna

 

Ten of Kelowna's funniest comics will participate in the ancient tradition of stand up in front of a live audience who will then decide their fate. At Comedy Bloodsport, you have the power to make or break dreams. Will these brave comedians advance to the next round or will they perish?

 

 

The first round will be put to a vote while rounds two and three of our contest are heated head-to-head battles decided by the audience's enthusiasm. This promises to be an exciting night of original comedy, but only one comic can walk away with the coveted Comedy Bloodsport trophy.

 

An exciting twist to the show is that while the votes are being tallied, deciding which comics will advance to round two, a short original play written by a local comedian entitled “The Beginning of Time” will be presented.

 

“Long long ago a street vendor invents the concept of time and the first ever calendar. It seems like a wonderful invention until he attempts to explain it to his first potential customer.”

 

Comedy Bloodsport is an uncensored show and is recommended for mature 18+ audiences.

 

Admission is only five dollars. The doors open at 8pm with the show starting a bit later, but it is recommended that people arrive close to 8 to get a good seat. The show was a sell out last month. Don't miss this exciting and original night of comedy.
