Chiefs Even Series

Kelowna, BC –February 28, 2012 – It took 3 overtime periods but the Kelowna Chiefs defeated Osoyoos in Game 4 of their playoff series. Osoyoos opened up scoring in the first period and kept Kelowna trailing the entire game until the final regular period of play. The teams entered the third period with the Coyotes leading 4 – 2 and quickly extended the gap 5 – 2. But the Chiefs fought back, netting three back to back to back goals to tie up the game and force overtime.

The victory ties the series between the Chiefs and Coyotes 2 – 2.

The Kelowna Chiefs played over 100 minutes of hockey tonight and will have a night off before traveling to Osoyoos for game 5 on Thursday March 1. The teams will return to Rutland Arena on Friday March 2 for game 6 in the series.
