Darford International, a pet food and treat company based in Vernon, BC, has partnered with Tail Blazers to host a Plus One Movement and customer appreciation event this weekend. Join them in Kelowna at Tail Blazers (1790 KLO Road, Unit 3) and learn about the Plus One Movement and how you can help feed rescue dogs.
Representatives from Beagle Paws, a national Beagle rescue, will be on location as well to answer questions and introduce a few of their beagles. All proceeds from the day's event will be donated to Beagle Paws.
This event marks the first of a community event series that will take place across Canada this summer to drive awareness and gain support of the Plus One Movement. Some of the retail partners involved thus far include Pet Food & More, Harvey's Pet Foods and Healthy Spot Pet Nutrition & Supply.
The Plus One Movement encourages consumers to "buy for one, care for two.” As a result, rescue dogs across North America are benefitting from Darford's award-winning Zero/G food and treat donations. For a complete and up-to-date list of events and benefiting shelters, visit www.darford.com.
Since the inception of the Plus One Movement, Darford has provided nearly 460,000 meals to rescue dogs across North America. It currently assists 18 animal rescues and the list is growing. As a result, rescue dogs are healthier and happier, and they have a second chance for a loving home. Support the Plus One Movement – a life-saving initiative for rescue dogs.
