Kelowna Art Gallery | Celebrate Canada Day with the Apple Bin Paint-In!

June 13, 2012 – Kelowna, BC: The Kelowna Art Gallery will once again celebrate Canada Day by hosting a much-loved family art activity. The Apple Bin Paint-In will take place on Sunday, July 1 between 10 am and noon outdoors at the Kelowna Art Gallery, where community members of all ages will be invited to paint their artistic vision on a side of an apple bin.

Over 30 apple bins will be delivered to the Gallery by BC Tree Fruits for the event. After they are painted, the bins will be kept on display at the Gallery until the end of August; after which, they will be picked up and delivered to local orchards to be filled with this year’s apple crop.

Benjamin Moore paints has generously donated all the paint for this event. The Apple Bin Paint-In is also proudly supported by BC Tree Fruits, Q 103.1 and Power 104 FM.

This event is free and open to the public; however the Apple Bin Paint-In is always a popular event and early registration is recommended. To reserve a space for the Apple Bin Paint-In phone the Gallery at 250-762-2226. For more information, please visit us online at www.kelownaartgallery.com.
