On 2012-08-21 at 4:15 pm, Kelowna RCMP responded to an armed robbery at the Royal Bank situated at 1840 Cooper Rd (Orchard Plaza). The male suspect exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and went inside the Orchard Park Mall. The suspect was located by police a short time later, and arrested and taken into custody without incident.
The investigation is continuing and the 21 year old male will be making a court appearance on 2012-08-22.
