Kelowna Chiefs Lose to Southern Rivals

A defeat for the Kelowna Chiefs Wednesday night by the hands of the Penticton Lakers. The Chiefs suffered a 3 – 1 loss in a rare mid-week match-up in Penticton.

The game was scoreless until the second period when Reilley O’Connor opened up scoring for the Lakers. The Chiefs were able to get on the board early in the third period thanks to a goal by Dylan Jamieson on the powerplay.  Alex Fortin picked up the assist.

The Lakers then cruised on to score two more goals from former Kelowna Chiefs player Matt Hill and Dylan Gamble.

Up next for the Kelowna Chiefs is a game at Rutland Arena against the Osoyoos Coyotes on Friday October 12th.  Puck drops at 7PM.
