Whistle Records 1st Win as Rocket in Victoria

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Victoria Royals 4-1 Friday night in Victoria, winning the first of two games between the Western Hockey League teams this weekend. 

Goaltender Jackson Whistle recorded his first win as a Rocket while four different players scored in the win. Zach Franko, Colton Sissons, Henrik Nyberg and Damon Severson scored for Kelowna who out-shot the Royals 31-21. Myles Bell added two assists.

Attendance in Victoria was 5,155.

Kelowna and Victoria meet again Saturday night at the Save on Foods Arena in Victoria.
