Athlete Field Testing
In this active 2-hour session, athletes will be put through a series of field tests to assess their explosive power, speed, balance and coordination, flexibility, muscular endurance, and aerobic power. These tests will allow athletes to identify areas of improvement in their training to maximize their athletic potential. PacificSport Okanagan

Enjoy a healthy and delicious lunch provided by Nature’s Fare. 12:15pm – 12:45pm Keynote Session – Olympic Dreams Find out what it takes to become an Olympic athlete… Chris Le Bihan started his early years participating in a variety of sports in Kelowna. After graduation from KLO Secondary, he took his sport training to Calgary and began his Olympic journey in bobsleigh. Hear from the 2010 Olympic bronze-medalist himself on the Olympic journey and experience and what it takes to reach the Podium! Chris Le Bihan

Fusion for Sport
Yoga and Pilates make good athletes better. With its emphasis on flexibility, balance, and whole-body strength, this time-honoured discipline leads to better form, efficiency, and power. As increasing numbers of athletes are discovering, a ‘Fusion’ of Yoga and Pilates can improve mental focus and endurance, assets that become especially important at the end of a training session or during competition. Take part in this hands-on session designed to complement a rigorous training schedule.

Speed & Power for Sport Performance
Successful athletes know how to combine great technical skill with explosive speed and power. Learn effective cross training techniques to maximize your explosiveness no matter what your sport. This practical hands-on session will educate athletes on how to get stronger, faster, and more resistant to injury. Amber Gilbert
 
Sport Conditioning Skills & Drills
Improve athletic skills by incorporating strength, endurance, power and flexibility drills into your training sessions. This practical workshop will not only teach you innovative strength & conditioning exercises but also educate you on the purpose and rationale for each drill. Chris Collins
