In June 2001, Chantal Couture started Funktional, a retail store located on Bernard Avenue in the heart of Downtown Kelowna. They speicalize in unique, “funky” gifts, home decor, and accessories. You can find them at their website, on Twitter, and on Facebook. Funktional is an eclectic space, filled with the coolest offerings and their mandate has grown to include an enormous collection of local talent. Sometimes humorous, occasionally serious, and always interesting, their shop is filled to the brim with great products.

You can find Funktional at 447 Bernard Avenue. They are open Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 11am-5pm, though they have been known to stay later so that they can be available to their customers.
