If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?
The Edgar award. I would love to write a good mystery novel.

Who inspires you?
My family.
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
Go to Europe, write a book, learn to play an instrument.
If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?
Leviathan
If you could foresee a single day of your future in its entirety, what date would you select?
My wedding day. Reducing stress for my bride could positively impact the rest of my life.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about furthering my knowledge of everything. I love to read, to listen to music, etc, and absorbing everything I can about everything possible. Wikipedia is my friend.
I am also passionate about learning to communicate well. I don't know that I am politically correct, actually, I know I am not, but I think the world would be better if we all just understood each other a little more and started using what makes us the same to define ourselves, rather than what make us different.
What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
Every Christmas with my extended family.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Rescuing a most excellent black cat, with the help and prodding of my fiancee. He's so loving it's sort of annoying at times, but makes my life better for being in it.
If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
Probably commodities, as other markets ebb and flow with changes in technology and the focuses of technology, but there will always be a demand for the building blocks used to produce things.
Where is your favourite place to dine in Kelowna?
The Rolling Stove
What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
Biking around it.
If I could change 1 thing about Kelowna, it would be:
More bike trails/lanes. Honestly the highways can be a scary place to be for a cyclist, and riding on the sidewalk can get me a ticket.
What do you think makes Kelowna great?
That it's growing, and finding itself as a larger whole rather than a few small areas that grew together.
