Distinctly Kelowna Tours is one of the Okanagan Valley's leading tourism businesses. Founded in 2003, the business quickly faced a great challenege when the Okanagan Mountain Park wildfires swept through the region and brough tourism to a standstill. Committed to showcasing our beautiful region and all that it offers, the team at Distinctly Kelowna tours pulled through and have built a successful and thriving business that continue to give back to the community.

Where do you want your business/organization to be in 5 years?
A leader in the industry by offering new and innovative tours. Having a very strong online presence. Continue to foster and maintain excellent relationships with community partners.

How does your business/organization impact the community?
Promotion of tourism in the Okanagan. Aid the environment by reducing the number of vehicles on the road. Support a number of local charities.
What is the best part of operating in Kelowna?
The community has a thriving tourism industry. It is a large center with a small town feel.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Conducting a charity wine tour, with all the proceeds going to the Kelowna SPCA.
If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
Marketing. I would ask them how to best market the business in a competitive field, and how to maximize the use of online marketing.

If I could change 1 thing about Kelowna, it would be:
Infrastructre, i.e. roads and traffic patterns.
