There will always be need of change, but if i had to choose on thing it would be the HOV lane. It's something that i feel doesn't work, cuts down on the amount of lanes that we need to use after we built a million dollar bridge, and overall was just a silly idea
What do you think makes Kelowna great?
It's community. I have been in the restaurant industry here for over 7 years. There is no end to the kindness of each restaurants in town. Something happens at one restaurant they all hear and help out where they can. It's truly amazing the amount everything is connected
My choice for the Kelowna In Focus spotlight is:
Jimmy Tilson, bartender from Tonics
Some general comments I would like to share are
It's amazing to think that newspapers and phone books are slowly being phased out, and it's great that websites like Welcome to Kelowna & Castanet are standing up and helping with the transition from paper to the internet. I think in the very near future it's going to be the only information medium
