This week’s column is dedicated to Frank Shannon who passed away last week. Frank and his companion Marg Cox hold a special place in my heart. Since day one, Frank and Marg have been volunteers at my United Way Drive-Thru Breakfast. They tirelessly transported the coffee from The Ramada’s kitchen to the front of the hotel and both have given many volunteer hours to the drive-thru. Marg, our condolences are with you and we will all miss Frank. CedarCreek Estate Winery has been named “Winery of the Year” for a second time by Canada’s Wine Access Magazine.
