Thanks a million times Kelowna. You did it again – and in a huge way. In just three hours, in the pouring rain, we raised $51, 610 to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Maxine DeHart, Ramada Hotel - United Way Drive-Thru Breakfast. Personal thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers, media, dignitaries, RCMP, road maintenance crew and by-law officers who participated in the event to make it a great success. Also thanks to everyone who helped in the bagging the evening before. The tremendous amount of support from you, the community getting behind this event is nothing less than overwhelming. Personal thanks to the Ramada Hotel owners, RPB Hotels and Resorts, manager Stan Martindale, convention manager Sergio Cunial and the Ramada Hotel staff. Without their loyal support and help, this event would not have taken place. They are all huge community supporters. A heartfelt personal thanks to all the many corporate sponsors who dug very deep into their pockets this year so we could reach the 10th Anniversary goal of $50,000 which was surpassed. I love you all!
