Had a very interesting Sunday. I was invited to visit the new Okanagan Sikh Temple and Cultural Society at 1111 N. Rutland Road. The Temple is beautiful and the experience was extraordinary. The new Temple has been 12 years in the making, largely spearheaded by the late Dr. Gary Randhawa. There were several speakers, including Mayor Shepherd and MLA Al Horning, along with many members of their community and friends and colleagues of Dr. Randhawa.
